Network Operations Engineer

Bring your experience working as a CISCO NETWORK ENGINEER and deep understanding of a large-scale, enterprise Cisco environment and be a part of this energetic and talented infrastructure operations team. This small team is mission critical and responsible for 24×7 support and sustainment of a complex network and will rely on you and your consistent troubleshooting skills as well as your working knowledge of all layers of OSI. Minimum of five years progressive hands-on network engineering experience is expected, CCNA required and CCNP preferred.RESPONSIBILITIESDay to day operational support of the network, including responding to user and system initiated tickets and resolving network incidents and additional requirements including OS patching and upgradesMaintain network management systems and tools (Solarwinds, NetMRI, NetScout, etc.)Installation and configuration of enterprise network devices, including routers, switches, and wireless access points, enterprise security devices, including firewalls and remote access concentratorsParticipate in team after hours and on-call rotation as requiredREQUIREMENTSCCNA required, CCNP preferredHands-on experience managing Cisco or Fortigate Firewalls, Cisco IOS, Cisco NX-OS, Cisco or Meraki WiFi, multi-locations (MAN/WAN, >5000 users), IP protocols/OSI and IP stack, routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF), switching technologies, VoIP traffic engineeringDemonstrate understanding of ITIL process and procedures*Local Seattle greater metropolitan residents only.
