Your New Opportunity

As a Network Analyst, under the direction of NOC Manager, you will help monitor, maintain, troubleshoot IP networks, TCS applications, various computer hardware, and peripherals; aid internal and external customers.

As a Network Analyst, you will help monitor email for incidents/customer requests, monitor network elements for anomalies and report/troubleshoot issues using network management software. You’ll identify, triage, resolve or escalate incidents (Level 1 Tech Support). You will be the first line technical support for customers via dedicated helpdesk phone line, and keep customers updated with incident progress and status changes.

You will work a 12-hour shift the back half of the week – Normal hours will be 7PM-7AM Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday.

AS A NETWORK ANALYST, YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPEIRENCE:

· 1+ year in a Help Desk-type support or Network Administration role

· Superior Customer Service skills

· Intermediate knowledge of Windows Desktop (XP Pro, Vista, Win 7)

· Intermediate knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems (2003, 2008)

· Basic knowledge of UNIX operating systems (Solaris preferred)

· Must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive data

· Ability to multitask and work well in a high pressure, fast paced environment is essential

· Attention to detail and quick learning capabilities are essential

ADDITIONAL VALUED (but not essential) CAPABILITIES INCLUDE:

· Knowledge of network management tools (HP Operations Manager, Network Node Manager, Solarwinds)

· Experience using ticketing systems such as Remedy

· Industry recognized certifications (Network+, A+, I-Net+, MCP, Cisco)

· Knowledge of 9-1-1 PSAP environments

· Four-year college degree
