Job Description:

Seeking full-time, mid-level application developer to participate in the design, development, testing and implementation of enhancements or new features to an existing DoD software application for the SOFEX team at Macdill AFB. The applicant must also be able to perform upgrades and testing of the existing application features. Applicants must have the ability to independently lead the design or redesign software initiatives with the help of experienced senior engineers. Applicants must have a clear understanding of object-oriented software design with a strong emphasis on C# and SQL Server development. Applicants must be able to work with minimal supervision in a small team environment.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Expertise focused towards the development and maintenance of C# solutions using ASP.NET, jQuery, AJAX, JavaScript – very strong coding capabilities in C#.

• Expertise in MS SQL Server and database programming

• Experience with Visual Studio 2013

• Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server

• Agile/Scrum development methodologies experience

• Knowledge of the use of PKI in .NET web applications

• Must have 4+ years’ experience developing software solutions using .Net and C#

• Must have 4+ years’ experience MS SQL experience designing and building SQL database solutions

• Must have 4+ years’ experience MS SQL experience designing and building SQL scripts and stored procedures

• Experience with Microsoft IIS 7.5

• Experience in application support and troubleshooting

• Experience in preparing technical documentation

Education & Experience:

• BS degree desired in Computer Science or related field experience

Security Clearance:

• Active TS/SCi security clearance REQUIRED

• Security + certification
