.Net Developer/Programmer – Contract Position

For our direct client,

Seeking an an experienced .NET developer for the Microsoft technologies to provide .NET development for the client Portal System and other information systems, as needed.

Submit your interest ONLY if you meet all requirements stated below under Minimum Qualifications and you have not given Right to Represent (RTR) to any other firm for this position.

Sample Tasks:

• Apply advanced software development experience and skill for the Microsoft technologies.
• Provide technical leadership to team members.
• Work independently with minimal guidance while also participating on project teams.
• Prepare and participate in release readiness for software development deployments to the TEST and PROD environments.
• Prepare and participate in continuous process improvement efforts.
• Provide clear, concise and honest communication.
• Provide other development work, as needed.
• Provide knowledge transfer to client staff

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years of combined experience with SQL Server / T-SQL
• 4 years of combined experience with the following Data Access technologies: ADO.NET and Entity Framework
• 4 years of combined experience with VB.NET or C#.NET
• 2 years of ASP.NET WebForms Development

Desired Skills:

• Criminal Justice experience.
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience.
• Collaborative software development team experience up to at least 4-5 team members.
• Data integration experience – coordinating data exchanges between disparate systems.
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Experience and continuous education in secure software development such as:
• Regular use of security static code analysis tools such as Veracode, HP Fortify, etc.
• Participating in security trainings offered by various entities (e.g. OWASP, etc.) focusing on current secure software development best practices.
• Participating in formal security code reviews.
