LAUSD’s District’s Information Technology Division (ITD) is currently seeking .NET Developers to design, develop, implement, and support complex and critical .NET-based applications based on District and customer needs and modifies and maintains existing .NET applications. What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, test, document, and implement high quality business needs using the .NET framework
  • Code, compile, and test complex website applications
  • Ensure application quality and consistency
  • Provide time estimate and schedules for projects and communication with departments and users on project requirements and status
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing applications
  • Assist in establishing and implementing standards that will facilitate high-quality IT infrastructure
  • Design and implement .NET-based databases and manages data loads and data quality
  • Maintain multiple user roles, security, profiles, and workflow rules

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to two years of the required education provided that the requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent is met.
  • Three years of experience in software development using .NET, C#, and AJAX programming and test driven development in a 2008 SQL Server R2 or later environment.
  • A valid California Driver License; Use of an automobile

Salary: $43.55 to $54.21 /hour
