National Telephone Sales Representative/Broker – Precious Metals

The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling GoldSilver precious metal products to existing and new clients of the firm. Candidates must be proven self-starters who have a strong desire to succeed and to achieve goals in a timely manner. Heavy phone work is expected along with establishing an organized sales system designed for success.The individual must be willing to learn and grow, have a strong work ethic, a sense of urgency, be prepared and execute tasks in a timely and professional manner. The cornerstone of the sales process is asking questions and listening, providing relevant information and insight, and always putting the interest of the client first.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Contact existing clients and leads of our retail brands through outbound calling efforts and direct email communications
  • Establish relationships with inbound callers from mail/email campaigns
  • Identify new clients through referrals and other campaigns
  • In collaboration with marketing, cultivate new client relationships, and deepen existing ones
  • Make a minimum number of outbound sales calls per day and handle associated issues. Duties include educating investors, exposure to the offering, call-backs, lead generation and follow up
  • Respond to client inquiries, provide ongoing communication and manage clients/prospects throughout the sales cycle, resulting in closed business
  • Serve as an inside resource for industry and product information by developing strong knowledge of our products, our clients, the competition and the marketplace

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated self-starter: Enthusiasm for the industry, a positive attitude, and a drive to succeed are essential to this role
  • Proven results and demonstrated sustainable success in a competitive sales environment
  • Ability to build relationships within our team, across our organization, and with our clients
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented atmosphere, with exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and demonstrate industry and product knowledge and make client presentations, when appropriate
  • Prior experience in direct sales of precious metals or similarly complex or financial products (stocks, bonds, insurance, etc.) preferred
