Municipal Bonds Trader

POSITION

This NYC headquartered firm is looking for a knowledgeable investment professional who has experience trading municipal securities and who is interested in assisting its growing financial advisory business in the fixed income area as well as doing administrative work and filling in where needed. In addition to her/his trading role, the assistant will participate in relationship building by acting as a liaison for clients, contacting clients to provide market color and execution detail, and responding effectively to inquiries pertaining to trading and pricing of fixed income securities. Compensation for the position is a base of $80k annually with an additional bonus of up to $20k based on performance.

The bond group’s product offerings include fixed-income vehicles, e.g., municipal bonds. Working together, the team of investment and client support professionals provides superior, sustained performance over the long term, coupled with personalized customer service. Accordingly, no one person is in charge of specific individual accounts. The group, including the head, supports, and services the group’s accounts. Trading for the bond group is handled by a full-time trader.who will be assisted by this professional trader.
