Mobile Sr. Lead IT Developer/Architect

The Mobile Sr. Lead IT Developer/Architect will develop, build, and support system enhancements and applications using multiple technologies. The successful candidate will have both technical depth and breadth. The successful candidate will have experience designing, developing, and testing mission-critical applications. Technologies include, but are not limited to Xamarin, iOS, Android, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, mobile data synchronization, C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, XCode, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite, and Microsoft Azure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools.
  • Develop platform architecture to deliver business needs while reducing technology complexity
  • Lead team of developers to deliver business requirements and maintain the solution
  • Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing technology solutions including integrations with other enterprise software solutions.
  • Write technical approach and design documentation supporting business needs.
  • Build and develop web services to support various integration points.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, code development, testing, deployment and support.
  • Will manage external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application.
  • Responsible for the scalability, robustness, and reliability of all solutions within the application area.
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of professional work experience
  • 6+ years of experience with full cycle software development, preferably in an agile environment. Experience should include all of the following; design, coding, testing, release, and maintenance.
  • 4+ years developing with C#, C++, or other object-oriented platforms
  • 3+ years mobile application development on iOS and/or Android platform
  • 3+ years experience working with Xamarin development platform
  • 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following skill sets: SOAP or REST based web services, SQL, XML, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, and CSS.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing mission-critical applications
  • Experience integrating business processes across disparate systems.
  • Experience deploying an application to the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Windows App Store
  • Experience in desktop development and Microsoft technologies including Visual Studio 2015 and greater, WPF, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2016 or greater, stored procedures, and object-oriented design
  • Experience with developing applications as part of a cloud-based solution
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of REST, JSON, Postgres or PostgresSQL
  • Strong business and technical acumen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Ability to keep informed of industry trends and technologies and apply them quickly through POCs or full applications
  • Xamarin Certified Developer
