Job Description

Receives, unpacks, checks, and stores merchandise or materials. Fills requisitions and orders. Delivers and maintains supplies for all departments of the hospital. Packs, crates, and ships products and materials. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures related to Materials Management. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under general supervision. Performs other related duties as assigned. Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Working Conditions:
Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position

Typical equipment used in a clinical job

Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs

Must be able to stoop, crouch or bend

Pushing with mechanical assistance heavy equipment and supplies up to 1000 pounds

Work Environment:
KH operates 24 hours per day each day of the year, operational needs of departments may require that you be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the department.

Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment.
