Master Data Analyst

The Master Data Analyst, Trade Operations, is responsible for tasks related to process and data integrity, and project management related to systems enhancements and reporting. The incumbent shall be responsible for SAP Data Management and Reporting as well as be a subject matter expert on the Data Quality Security Act.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • SOP Compliance
    • Train Commercial Operations team members on all policy and process changes
    • Project Management of policy and/or procedure changes
    • Identify internal stakeholders impacted by changes
    • User Acceptance Testing of proposed changes
  • Manage Genzyme’s compliance with the Data Quality Security Act
    • The Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA, or Title II of the Drug Quality and Security Act (DQSA)) was enacted on November 27, 2013. The act replaces a 50-state patchwork of pedigree requirements with one federal traceability solution for prescription medicines, and raises licensure standards across the U.S.
  • Adhere to project schedule and communicate progress to management
  • Perform audits on DEA #s, State License Numbers and PHS Eligibility
  • Proficient and compliant with all corporate policies such as Human Resources, Corporate Compliance and Travel & Expense

Data Integrity:

  • Ensure the timely communication and accurate entry of the following information into SAP and Sales Logix.

SAP:

  • Responsible for entering and maintaining all data relevant to Customer Master Data for all Payer, Sold to, Ship to and Bill to accounts (address, payment terms, State Licenses and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) certificates, Healthcare Industry Number (HIN), State License Number, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) data, class of trade, account assignment groups, reconciliation accounts, currency, shipping conditions, carriers, credit card token, contact information, invoice export authorization group, price list, accounting clerk, tolerance group, delivery plant, tax code and maintain partner functions. Any additional data as required.
  • Maintaining Product Pricing on the Product and Customer levels (list prices, contracted prices, promotions, review Global Material Identification Numbers (GMID) for expiration dates and enter updated information.
  • Perform SOX peer review
  • Shall be project lead for system enhancements to ensure requirements are defined, met and implemented

SOP Compliance:

  • Proficient in relevant regulations to ensure compliance with Finance, Government Pricing, and audits
  • Coordinate revisions to procedures as it relates to changes regulations
  • Train team on all process changes
  • Maintain and track documentation of approved SOPs

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 5-7 years’ experience in an analyst role/function
  • Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in SAP navigation & logic.
  • Preferred experience with Business Warehouse
  • Solid project management and skills in leading teams to achieve project objectives and goals within assigned timelines
