Principal is seeking top talent as a Marketing Operations Strategist to join the Retirement Income Solutions Marketing team. This role will assist with the review and implementation of design, development and implementation in order to increase productivity and operational efficiency across all marketing functions by integrating technology and data into business processes. The main focus for the Marketing Operations Strategist will be working with a new marketing automation tool. Additional responsibilities will include:

Assist with the review and implementation of business process changes. Focus is on optimization and standardization of processes to ensure the desired quality, efficiency and scalability.

Continually analyze and advise on marketing database issues, data clean-up efforts, and work cross-functionally to achieve overall marketing database objectives. Advise team on best practices for continual improvement of marketing database practices.

Serve as a marketing automation administrator, and help manage other technologies utilized by the marketing team as needed.

Recommend new systems and outline workflow processes to increase the scalability and efficiency of the marketing organization.

Facilitate audits of marketing and communication processes and procedures, helping identify business risks and recommending business process improvements as a result of the audit.

Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications: Skills required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 8 years’ experience.

1+ years marketing or communications work experience.

Experience working with Salesforce and running marketing campaigns is preferred. Successful candidates will have the following:

Must possess demonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving, and big-picture/conceptual skills.

Strong technical, financial services product and business processes acumen.

Ability to execute effectively in a matrix environment.

Must have the ability to work with people at all levels and influence others without formal authority.

Must be able to build and maintain relationships and facilitate collaboration and communication.

Demonstrate the ability to embrace and understand the change process and effectively guides others through change.

Limited travel may be required.
