Marketing Consultant

Acta Consulting is looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable contract consultant to perform as the Product Marketing Manager for one of our key clients. The opportunity will support Contact Center Services – Customer Experience (CCS – CX) market offer. CCS – CX is a strategic offer in the Client’s Business Communications product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong product marketing experience, with particular focus in CCS – CX. Experience in leading teams is strongly desired, and specific expertise in premise and cloud based solutions including Cisco, Avaya, Genesys, InContact, and Nice. Large enterprise solutions is highly desired. * Knowledge of CCS – CX market technologies, related consulting services; leading hardware/software platforms, buying trends, and cost / pricing trends. * Customer journey mapping * Omnichannel * Ability to gather the support of cross-functional organizations * Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to create sharp, appealing, and concise presentations and to present to both internally and customers.The Product Marketing Manager will drive horizontal offerings to transform market awareness of Client as a technology leader and innovator. This position is charged with framing and designing appropriate retention, acquisition, and upsell plans and programs with extension into the Channels. This position will also work with Product Management to ensure the portfolio is priced competitively and positioned to elevate Client’s market brand and revenue results. The primary objective is to drive double digits YOY growth of revenues and sales with a targeted focus in strategic services. Candidate will use business analytics, industry and competitive insights to develop a differentiation point for Client to drive Vertical sales. This may be achieved through vertical specific solutions or by leveraging Horizontal Client assets. Product Marketing Manager may collaborate with a team of Segment Marketing Managers who are expected to collaborate with Vertical and Regional Sales leadership as well as Product Management, Solution and Field Marketing teams to build sales enablement programs to achieve year over year sales growth targets. Product Marketing Manager must be able to understand and effectively articulate the interconnections of a marketing practice and must be able to develop an understanding of the multiple sales channels, product stakeholders and peer organizations for marketing program execution. This is a highly visible role that includes both internal and external presentations, strategizing with key business leaders and technology partners, and frequent interactions with senior executives within Client Marketing and Sales organizations. 1. Serve as the interface into Product Management, serves as the Marketing Subject Matter Expert while developing the Go-To-Market strategy for the portfolio and leads content development efforts. Creates the Client value proposition in the market place while positioning Client as a market leader in the market place. Develops acquisition, retention and upsell programs (defines the offers, creates the metrics for measurement and success, designs the overall program).2. Build, manage, and own an integrated marketing program for the channels supporting sales. Ensure marketing plans are developed addressing key customer segments within the larger business customer segment.3. Develop & maintain market segment business plans. Evaluate segment and industry trends, competitive analysis. Analyze market segment KPIs (subscribers, revenue, penetration) and make recommendations for improvement.4. Provide input and direction to Product Management, Training, Sales Operations, Go-to-Market, Marketing Communications, and Solution Development on marketing and sales material/tools needed in order to target the market segments. Provide guidance on positioning & communication strategies for market segments. 5. Contribute content to written Concept Papers for new market segment opportunities in order to get new initiatives approved and prioritized. Identify opportunities, customer insights & requirements, Market sizing, high level business case, GTM plans and interface with various cross functional teams to get input into concept planning.6. Assist Product Manager with product-specific Proposition Plan, providing input to shape requirements and with product-specific GTM strategies.

Act as overall subject matter expert and evangelist for market segments. Provide market segment input to various cross-functional teams throughout Client organization

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related.

Four-five years of experience in a B2B marketing role

Expertise in creating and delivering presentations

Excellent communication skills

Proven success working cross-functionally with sales, finance, product and engineering teams.

Ability to work remote with minimal direct supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in or with top-tier telecom service providers

Experience managing end to end product launches

Proven leadership experience

Strong ability to work with a team

Growth mindset primed for always learning and evolving personal skillset and expertise

Ability to navigate the organization and blaze own path when needed

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $90,000.00 to $105,000.00 /year
