This position will be a member of the Direct Mail Delivery (DMD) Paper Management team responsible for the management of paper and the JPMC Paper Program. Managing, reporting and metrics for the end to end process for the Chase Paper asset, including oversight of procurement, orders, logistics, consumption, and inventory, as well as related reporting and metrics.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Compile /review / approve paper cost reporting and allocations
  • Manage inventory assets across multiple locations utilizing paper merchant platform
  • Inventory review, identifying cross utilization
  • Monitoring unused paper risk levels working with Business and stakeholders directly to manage risk
  • Manage Inventory reduction, sell-off, invoicing, receivables
  • Participate in Paper RFPs and Mill Negotiations as needed
  • Manage Acquisition Preliminary Paper Order activity
  • Oversee paper orders / logistics / schedules communicating with Printers, Paper Merchant, Mills
  • Develop and Manager Paper Strategy
  • Manage Paper Rebate program including Annual Rebate tracking/compiling, calculating share and allocation to the appropriate businesses
  • Maintain the paper ledger account balances
  • Guidance and recommendations to the business utilized in developing Budgets and adjusting forecasts
  • Managing consumption and variances at a component level including communicating with all parties for corrective actions
  • Guidance / input for the Paper portion of the DMD Spend Packages
  • Monitoring the Paper Spend
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining firm-wide Quarterly Environmental Reporting
  • Researching and resolving issues
  • Provide guidance on paper stocks and production
  • Prepare accurate and timely consolidated reports for senior management, Finance, Channel Marketing and CFOs
  • Calculating and creating Reclasses for paper allocations
  • Effectively analyze and report actual CPPs including fluctuations by package at the component level
  • Collect and summarize monthly risks and opportunities for Budgets
  • Create and maintain evergreen Process and Procedure documents
  • Collect, analyze and report DMD Paper Metrics for DMD Dashboard
  • Liaise and manage paper merchant activities
  • Paper Merchant invoices review and approvals
  • Maintain paper cost spreadsheets and invoice database
  • Supplier oversight and training for Paper Merchant BICS and Ecomm platforms for paper orders and inventory management
  • Participate in BICS development and reporting
  • Prepare presentations for Senior Management Business Reviews
  • Maintain cross-functional knowledge in understanding impact of expense processes
  • Drive process improvement to enhance controls and reporting while gaining efficiencies
  • Execute on CCB Expense Management initiatives
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving skills, especially in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactively take ownership of paper expense and inventory data and elevate any issues
  • Complete ad-hoc research and analysis as needed

Qualifications

  • BS in Finance or related discipline required
  • Minimum of five years of related analytical experience
  • Knowledge of paper procurement
  • Ability to understand the vision and execute accordingly
