Marketing Assistant (Full-time)

Travel Salem is seeking a marketing professional with in-depth knowledge and understanding of project coordination, advertising, websites, social media, public relations and customer service. Knowledge of the tourism industry and the Salem, Marion County & Polk County area a plus. Position will be responsible for supporting a six member marketing team with daily administrative projects, campaigns, advertising, data entry and content creation. Only fearless, creative geniuses need apply!

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

• Skilled with all facets of clerical duties
• Proficient with all Microsoft platforms
• Strong writing and public speaking skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of relevant social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Google+, Snapchat, etc.)
• Effective communication
• Detail oriented
• Creative thinking and problem solving
• Excellent customer service skills
• Degree in marketing, communications, public relations or new media a plus
