SUMMARY

Support the Sr. Marketing Specialist and assists with the development and implementation of marketing action plans for business lines. Coordinates workflow and projects as directed by Marketing Specialist and the Director with in-house Creative Services and

Web Marketing Departments, Direct Mail Coordinator and media buyer; ensures timely production and distribution of advertising and collateral materials; tracks cost to budget and works with Sr. Marketing Specialist and management to resolve discrepancies; delivers

Five Diamond service during all business transactions.

IMPACT

Ensures that both internal and external advertising products meet business line expectations for creative quality, accuracy, timeliness and cost.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Acts as liaison between business lines and Marketing as directed by the Sr. Marketing Specialist; works with Sr. Marketing Specialist to plan marketing activities, and communicates key marketing information to in-house Creative Services and E-Business Departments

and Direct Mail Coordinator as necessary.

Coordinates Horizons advertising efforts, working closely with the Sr. Marketing Specialist to develop advertising schedules and budgets; creates synergy between product promotion, business cycle and sales goals; tracks year-to-date advertising expenses, ensuring

balance between budgeted and actual expenditures; works with management to adjust advertising expense allocation as needs change; coordinates ad production, including obtaining input and getting final approval as directed by the Sr. Marketing Specialist. Coordinates

with outside partners to gather product information as needed under direction of the Sr. Marketing Specialist.

Maintains marketing activity matrix for business line as assigned to include internal and external channels, incorporating budget, content, quantities, frequency, publication/distribution date and results if applicable. Maintains marketing plans for business

line as assigned, updating as necessary under direction of the Sr. Marketing Specialist.

Coordinates external advertising efforts, including media buyers as needed and directed by the Sr. Marketing Specialist; obtains quotes from outside vendors; acts as Club representative, ensuring projects are on time and within budget; exchanges information

and resolve discrepancies.

Gathers data to open, track status, and work to close all marketing jobs; administers approved advertising and collateral materials, ensuring timely and cost-conscious project completion; attends regular marketing meetings with business lines and follows through

on projects as assigned.

Coordinates special projects, trade shows and special events; may provide occasional administrative support to management and the Sr. Marketing Specialist.

Assists department with any special projects on a needed basis

QUALIFICATIONS

B.A. in marketing or related field preferred. A minimum of 2-3 years’ agency or in-house marketing experience required. Familiarization with the following is essential: media scheduling, traffic and production and co-op advertising. Must be able to build strong

professional relationships, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management. Must have strong attention to detail. Must be flexible and adaptable, since advertising needs change frequently. Must be deadline-driven. Strong organization

skills required, with the ability to multi-task and set priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to work in a team atmosphere a must. Complete familiarization with the Microsoft Office platform of products required, including

advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel applications. Familiarization with a work flow software.
