MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATE

Job Summary and Description:

Manufacturing Associates are responsible for tactically managing the production line flow for assigned areas and ensuring area priorities and execution supports production line priorities. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Completing all required safety training and conducting all work in accordance with Micron safety policies

· Analyzing capacity, production scheduling, tool loading, efficiency opportunities, and communicating findings and priorities to the production teams

· Creating daily run plans for their assigned area shift teams

· Partnering with area leadership and equipment engineering to understand strategic capacity and overall Fab constraints

· Identifying and executing tactical area capacity flex options (i.e. offloads, conversions, etc)

· Conducting periodic document reviews

· Assuming additional duties and projects as directed by the supervisor

Qualifications:

· Demonstrated understanding of operations management techniques and theories

· Intermediate understanding of semiconductor production operations concepts

· Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills

· Proven ability to communicate and present effectively to a wide variety of audiences

· Proven ability in multi-tasking and driving complex projects

· Basic understanding of algebraic concepts

· Advanced PC skills and familiarity with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Basic understanding of SPC principles

· Advanced data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills

· Proven ability to troubleshoot intermediate problems and identify and resolve root causes

· Proven ability to lead teams to execute at high levels

· Proven ability to recognize performance gaps and identify steps to improve

· Proven ability to follow basic procedures and work with minimal supervision

Education and Experience: BS in Production Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Supply Chain, or equivalent degree. In the absence of a degree, equivalent semiconductor experience is required. Experience within Line Management, Manufacturing, Supervision, Mentoring, or Semiconductor Operations is also preferred but not required.
