Manager, Marketing

This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Marketing, Channel at PUMA North America, as part of the PUMA North America Marketing team. The Manager, Marketing, Channel will assist in building long range marketing plans based on brand and sales objectives that reflect the creative nature of the PUMA and drive consumer demand and sell-through of key product. The Manager, Marketing, Channel will then implement and manage these plans at the account level.

This candidate must have strong retail marketing knowledge and experience (wholesale and/or vertical), and proven ability in executing successful campaigns that include multiple elements of the marketing mix to drive sales. A proactive, resourceful, self-motivated and detail-oriented person with strong project and people management skills is required.

Responsibilities:
Drive marketing plans within key Channel accounts.

Develop and manage brand activation strategies including events, sponsorships, etc.

Work cross-functionally throughout the organization to effectively develop, partner on and manage campaigns that tell brand stories and generate sales.

Support marketing leadership team on all aspects of the Go-To-Market Process.

Accurately forecast and manage the Lifestyle co-op budget for owned accounts and communicate monthly spend updates and shifts

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Communications.

At least 3-5 years of brand, product or retail marketing (retail marketing a plus).

Familiarity with sport, music and fashion industries.

Working Knowledge of key mall based athletic and field based Lifestyle accounts is preferred.

Strategic and creative thinker who is outgoing and an effective communicator.

Must possess strong presentation skills

Excellent writing and organization skills a must.

Proven ability to work independently with limited day-to-day direction.

Proven ability to multi-task.

Enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Must be detail oriented, resourceful, self-motivated and proactive.

Strong computer skills, with knowledge of MS Office programs.

Working knowledge of social media.

10-15% Travel.
