Manager, Finance & Order Management Technology (IT)

Our Corporate Information Services team is searching for a Manager for our Finance and Order Management Technology groups based in Schaumburg, IL. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Solution Delivery, this position will have overall solution ownership and responsibility for all functionality within the areas of Order to Cash and Record to Report. This includes planning and leading new projects in this space, facilitating approvals for solution enhancements, and managing the production support process. The primary function of this position will be to support SAP, but the role will include involvement with other interface applications including EDI and the Enterprise Data Warehouse. This position will work with business unit counterparts to develop business cases, assess requirements and deliver solutions that enable capabilities to support Central’s overall business & IS objectives.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

Overall management of the enterprise systems within the area of order to cash, including sales order processing, customer related master data, and customer billing.

Overall management of the enterprise systems within the area of record to report, including GL, A/R, A/P, fixed assets and product costing (including material ledger)

Build deep functional and technical skills within area of responsibility

Partner with the process owner organization and key stakeholders on solution design and implementation

Facilitate vendor/software selection process when needed with a standardized methodology to meet the key business requirements

Lead system implementations for small to medium sized projects within area of responsibility working closely with business unit counterparts

Oversee production support responsibilities within area of responsibility making sure adherence to service levels, governance procedures, and documentation standards.

Manage and provide direction to a team of employees & independent consultants

Develop relationships with counterpart IS leads and key business unit partners built on trust and transparency

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

Very strong hands on experience with either the SAP SD module and/or the SAP FICO modules

Experience leading the implementation of either the SAP Order to Cash solution and/or the SAP Record to Report solution

Strong knowledge of the core business processes utilized in Order to Cash and/or Record to Report

Minimum ten years of experience in Information Technology management

Demonstrated track record in implementing a variety of enterprise systems in large organizations

Prior experience in managing a team in excess of five professionals

Experience in Consumer Products, Manufacturing, or Distribution companies required

BS/BA in computer technology or Business Management preferred

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

WORKING CONDITIONS

Typical duties will occur in an office setting; however, candidates will be required to visit our manufacturing facilities.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
