STARTING SALARY: $62,213.00 – $76,212.00 annually dependent on qualifications. Salary range for this position is $62,213.00 – $90,211.00.

JOB SUMMARY:
This position supports all enterprise applications across all functional areas of the organization. Duties include maintaining, updating, and patching all enterprise applications and providing end user support to 700+ end users on basic, intermediate, and advanced application support requests. This position also works closely with in-house development staff to recommend and plan updates or enhancements to custom applications. The role requires regular interaction with application vendors to track new features and functionality, resolve open support tickets, and to coordinate and plan upgrades.

JOB DUTIES:
Resolve support tickets from end users for application and software issues. Administers various custom-built and 3rd party applications including password resets, security, tuning, configuration, upgrades, and general application administration as needed. Works as a liaison between application users and application vendors to facilitate service for problem reporting and resolution, service request management, and project and resource coordination. Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring enterprise applications. Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders. Develops, implements, and maintains policies, standards and procedures regarding operation of village applications. Maintains and enhances performance of all new and existing software and applications across the organization. Interfaces with vendors for upgrades and patches. Schedules upgrades, tests, troubleshoots and implements database and 3rd party software. Works with in-house development staff to design and plan application and database configurations to ensure system integrations and compatibilities. Performs other duties as assigned.

May act as representative in absence of supervisor. Develops programs and reports; implements, tests, and evaluates programs; updates as necessary, in a minor capacity. Participate in the design, development, and delivery of software applications training programs and individual classes. Conduct research into software application products and services in support of development and purchasing efforts. Keeps abreast of new applications new application management tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. A minimum of three years of experience in the Information Technology field in the area of application development, database administration, and application administration. Proficiency with current computer software systems, including email, calendar programs, job specific software, and customer service systems preferred within the first six months of employment.

In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise and desktop applications, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, document management systems, and productivity tools like MS/Office, MS, Project, and MS/Access. Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques. Knowledge of the use of village software applications and development tools. Requires ability to develop and initiate methods and procedures related to job duties. Requires ability to establish working relationships and effectively communicate with co-workers. Requires analysis and problem solving skills – the ability to develop and initiate methods and procedures for successfully handling and completing system requirements.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position works in a typical office setting. Prolonged periods of concentration, proofreading, and extensive computer work.
