Manager, Business Intelligence and Process

Job description

The Business Intelligence and Process Manager will be responsible for developing scalable as well as individual customer reports and processes in support of our Key Accounts, leading to greater visibility, continuous improvement, customer centricity and satisfaction, as well as K+N internal efficiencies. The role will work with the CST (Customer Solutions) to develop functional designs, reports and quality controls as necessary, and will be a key liaison between CST and the OKAM (Operational Kay Account Management) community.

Your tasks and responsibilities

o Developing scalable solutions as relates to ex- and internal reporting

o Conducting negotiations with Key Accounts (CP and GA) related to reporting requirements and design.

  • Assist in configuration of KPIs to client (BI, Login, standardizing etc.) in close cooperation with KAM, OKAM and Business Field Management.

o Refining process reviews and continuous improvement activities based on identified metrics

o Liaison with CIEL/ Salog Technical Teams

o Coach/ SME on matters related to BI, Excel and Tableau

  • Develop and maintain reporting related Working Instructions & provide appropriate training to existing and new OKAMs.

o Identify and address IT issues as appropriate

o Support existing and new account implementation from a Systems/ Operations perspective.

o Driving outsourcing activities

Your skills and experience

o Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Degree Preferred. Field of IT, Logistics or related preferred.

o Minimum 5 years relevant experience in comparable Supply Chain Reporting role

o Must have in depth knowledge of forwarder logistics import and export operations, including systems and processes

o Must have experience with design, production and analysis of Performance Matrices (KPIs).

o Experience in managing and utilizing Logistics applications and reporting tools such as Business Objects.

o Must be able to present to, and lead discussions with, senior stakeholders, including C-level.

o Ability to interact and network effectively with all levels of employees

o Desire to work in a team environment

o Strong analytical and process skills

o Ability to transfer knowledge gained/ known through training

o Strong written, verbal and communication skills

o Confidential handling of customer communication

o Must have experience in dealing with multi-national and multi-business unit organizations

o Advanced usage of all Microsoft Office products (including creating Macros) and reporting tools

o Understanding of EDI process a plus

o Some domestic travel, and potentially international.
