The COBA Risk Management Project Manager is charged with developing and implementing a strategic communications, competencies, and marketing activity to promote the COBA Risk Management Program regionally and nationally. The Project Manager will also be responsible for program enrollment management.

Essential Functions

Marketing:

Develops, implements, and manages a comprehensive integrated communications and marketing strategy; the position’s responsibilities will encompass marketing, promotion, and external/media relations.

Oversees preparation courses for certification examinations.

Develops and implements initiatives to market the risk management program to increase awareness, promote interest, and build relationships that will culminate in a pipeline of qualified students into the risk management degree program at COBA

Oversees the development of promotional materials as well as marketing theme and design, logos, videos, social media presence, multimedia presentations, and other creative designs.

Identifies target groups for program outreach and dissemination of marketing materials and implements plans for developing and maintaining relationships with these target groups.

Develops materials and/or messages for use by campus offices engaged in student recruitment, admissions, and enrollment outreach. Manage student application/admission to program and track increasing enrollment

Communications:

Develops and implements a comprehensive integrated communications plan for the program. Develops and implements plans for the use of electronic and web-based communication for implementation of public relations strategies.

Implements plans for speaking engagements, strategic relationships, and other external relations activities to link potential student participants to the college

Additional:

Employee agrees to abide by the Code of Ethics as set forth by the University of Texas and the University of Texas System. Complies with all State and University policies.

Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems.

Other duties may be assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in finance, mathematics, engineering, statistics, or related field. Master’s Degree Preferred

Five years of experience, related to the statement of duties and responsibilities; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
