The Role:
We are seeking seasoned malware and security savvy candidates to augment our team and contribute in the malware investigation, detection, classification, validation, and release activities in support of our leading edge advanced malware detection solutions.

Responsibilities:
Perform leading edge malware research, analysis and generate content for malware protection in our products.

Enhance FireEye’s security content infrastructure, process workflow, and the malware intelligence portal.

Act as subject matter expert on cyber threats.

Requirements:
At least three years direct or equivalent experience in areas of malware-analysis

Knowledge in malware analysis and reverse engineering

Knowledge in security and malware detection technologies.

Knowledge in cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

Proficiency with network traffic analysis tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump

Experience with IDA PRO, WinDBG, and mmunity a plus

Solid programming skills with scripting languages such as Perl or Python is required

Working knowledge of databases such as Postgres or MySQL

Working knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, IRC, RPC, DNS etc

Additional Qualifications:
Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis skills

Experience working in fast-paced development environments

Excellent inter-personal and teamwork skills

Self-driven, proactive, hardworking, team-player with a good sense of humor

Proficiency in written and spoken English.

BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience
