Mainframe Developer – FL

Mainframe / COBOL Programmer:
Must be a contributor for development, suggest best ways to do things with various tools available in Mainframe space. The Programmer / Analyst will have some common tools mentioned: TSO, ISPF, SYNCSORT, XPEDITER, INTERTEST, InSync, Tracemaster, dumpmaster, Endevor, Sar. Cobol, DB2, VSAM, CICS etc.

The Mainframe / COBOL Programmer position will be analyzing existing application functionality in both code and database to understand mapping of data constructs from one billing application to another, and assist in design of enhancements required to convert customer account data.

Required: • 5-7 years prior billing application experience a must • 5-7 years experience with COBOL, DB2, CICS development • 5-7 years experience with application architecture • Proficiency with mainframe utilities like IEBGENER, INSYNC, SAS, Syncsort, MFT • Excellent MS Office sklls (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Knowledge of XML transaction processing a plus
