Mainframe Application Developer

Project Description:

Our client is seeking Mainframe Application Analyst in Naperville, IL

Ideal candidate should have the customer facing skill, able to work independently with minimal supervision. Work may involve resolution of critical issue over technical calls including multiple stakeholders. Prior production support experience is preferable. This is primarily mainframe role, some exposure to Java technology will be advantageous.

Required Skills:

Mainframe: DB2, COBOL, JCL, CICS , Magna, VSAM, DB2, Endevour , REX, Clist, Optim

Production support experience (24×7)

Assembler (Good to Have)

ITIL Certified (Good to have)

Mainframe Production Support. Will have to work on shifts – 24/7 support.

• Experience running batch jobs
• ITIL experience a plus
• JCL
• CICS
• COBOL
• DB2
• MQ Series
• Healthcare experience a huge plus
