Magento Business Analyst

Our organization is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expert level experience in the Magento Ecommerce platform and in ecommerce development best practices. Candidates must have significant technical expertise and experience in documentation of integrations, system requirements, and workflows. In this manner, they can develop a nuanced understanding of two independently operating ERPs and provide recommendations for switching from one to another. This is a 6-month position requiring 10% travel (New York & Ohio) in which the candidate is responsible for working with technical and management personnel to create solutions as well as presenting their findings to coordinating teams.

Requirements

• Business Analyst with expert level experience in Magento 1.x
• Interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and methods, equipment, and personnel used
• Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures
• Technical expertise and experience in documentation of integrations, system requirements, and workflows
• Experience gathering business requirements from clients preferred.
• Problem-solving skills for highly technical, ecommerce related subjects
• Ability to analyze and map workflows
• Ability to clearly present their findings to both technical and non-technical personnel and translate them into operational requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of technology based Project/Business Analyst experience required
• SCRUM and Agile certifications or equivalent experience preferred
• English proficiency is required
