Linux Engineer

IEX is looking for an Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and upgrade our Linux environment. What you’ll do:

• Design and implement OS deployment infrastructure for bare metal and containers
• Improve and maintain configuration management system
• Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
• Build comprehensive documentation to a level by which processes are reproducible by others
• Support the administration of user accounts and entitlements

Your background:

• Experience with CentOS 7, including Docker
• Configuration management experience with Ansible and Ansible Tower
• Scripting experience with Shell, Python, or Jinja 2
• Experience implementing services like PostgreSQL, mySQL, Apache, nginx
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like syslog, Graylog, and Nagios
• Server hardware management experience
• Bachelor’s degree, a plus
