Linux Administrator

Please work on this position : This is an FTE position confirm the one time fee Job Location : Novi, MI Job Responsibilities: Responsible for overall Linux servers and applications environment, incorporating best practices.

· Design, maintain and continuously improve the overall Linux IT infrastructure and system landscape· Develop Linux IT infrastructure concepts based on existing requirements and available, standardized IT services.· Proactively monitor the environment to minimize the service disruption, prepare monitoring configurations and propose service improvements· Work closely with other areas over IT to constantly improve the overall architecture· Maintain the Linux IT infrastructure documentation· Develop and maintain automation scripts· Support backup procedures from Linux server side· Maintain Linux-related area in corporate Active Directory· Install and maintain Linux based server applications

· Total IT experience should be at least 8+ years· 8-10 years hands on experience managing Linus OS distributions like RHEL, SLES, CentOs and Ubuntu· Linux certifications considered as a pluso Configuration of Linux server monitoringo Configuration of Linux server backupo Basic knowledge of modern software development platforms ( Android, Tizen, Yocto )o Experience in Linux based applications for software development – version control, bug tracking, test and requirements management, build orchestratorso Knowledge of scripting languages like bash, perl and pythono Experience with IT SCM systems like Ansibleo Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms – vmware (kvm is a plus)o Experience with enterprise linux management systemso Experience with ITILv3 framework processes and activities· Worked for a MNC with outsourced IT support model
