Bisk is looking for a Learning Technologist in Tampa, FL. The Learning Technologist will serve as a resource for our development teams focusing on ways that learning technologies can be used in our courses. This position will be responsible for researching new technologies and providing feedback on their suitability for Bisk products, as well as evaluating current technologies. This position will also include demonstrating proficiencies in creating online courses in various learning platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an academic environment and the ability to manage shifting priorities.

What You’ll Do

• Keep abreast of trends related to online learning and online course delivery
• Research and evaluate third-party technologies for content delivery
• Evaluate current content delivery technology for effectiveness/ impact on student learning outcomes
• Familiarize development teams and learning experience designers with new methods of leveraging technology for content delivery
• Serve as a resource for client teams troubleshooting issues with technologies chosen
• Build online courses in learning platform to the specs of the learning design

Who You Are

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or Instructional Technology
• Demonstrated experience with learning management systems
• Blackboard, Canvas, or D2L Brightspace preferred
• Intermediate proficiency with HTML5 and CSS
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work in team environment
