Project Scope:
Supports our client’s Talent Development with a wide variety of issues/topics related to training coordination, training programs, and preparation of materials , developing evaluation reports for TD programs and training classes for talent development programs. Serves as back-up to Talent Development Administrative Assistant.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the logistics of training delivery to include the following programs: New Employee Orientation Power Forward, New Manager Support Program (onboarding), New Supervisor Training, Leadership Development and Executive Excellence programs.
  • Uses Survey Monkey to create customized surveys for TD interventions, collects survey data, evaluation data and develops summaries and reports to assess benefits of the TD program/intervention.
  • Sets up training sessions, tracks course completions inputting completions into the Human Resource Management Information System (MyLearning) system as needed.
  • Assists department manager with budget spreadsheets and reports.
  • Catalogs sessions in the Training System Maintenance (MyLearning).
  • Prepares, copies, and assembles training materials, delivering or ensuring delivery of the complete inventory of material and supplies to the site.
  • Serves as online administrator for 360 program.
  • Coordinates the DAC – Development Assessment Center.
  • Schedules use of training rooms in Portland/Wilsonville; monitors training rooms and equipment on a daily basis ensuring equipment (PC’s, Projectors, etc., flipcharts, supplies, available, tables arranged, etc.
  • Prepares various training reports as requested or needed.
  • Creates and send various training correspondence and marketing materials.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in project work coordination and good process management skills.
  • Ability to work at all levels of the organization including the executive level.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Access. Experience with SharePoint, PeopleSoft tools or other learning management systems a plus.
  • Must have good communications skills, both oral and written, with the ability to transmit information effectively, presenting and describing issues clearly and concisely.
  • Intermediate/Advanced PowerPoint skills a plus; including basic graphics design
  • Must have ability to work collaboratively on a team while successfully interfacing with staff independently.
  • Incumbent must be self-directed, results driven, punctual, and have an excellent attendance record.
  • Person must demonstrate ability to pay close attention to detail, while grasping the “big picture”, have excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently at a fast pace with many interruptions, and be able to shift priorities multiple times a day.
  • The ability to demonstrate flexibility and deal successful with ambiguity is needed.
