Learning Content Creator

We are looking for a passionate Learning Content Developer/Designer who is an expert at converting learning objectives into:
Online courses

• Material for Instructor Led Training
• Behavior-changing exercises
• Exams and evaluations

You enjoy creating engaging training materials that excite and motivate your audiences. Your instructional design and development expertise allows you to produce industry leading learning experiences.

You can easily manage multiple, in-parallel, fast-paced projects while interacting with different functional teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and release learning content (training materials, evaluations) within budget and timeline
• Create visual assets (images, pictures, animations) using different techniques and tools
• Seek information and feedback from subject matter expert, successfully incorporate it within content and manage approval process with stakeholders
• Ability to plan projects, work to timelines and provide regular project status and updates
• Ensure that content respects Nest voice and meets quality standards
• Look for ways to improve the content creation flow and maximize impact
• Use metric-based approach to understand and improve content retention among learner audiences
• Manage third-party vendors by having regular communications, preparing roadmaps, maintaining contracts, administering invoices and payment, and managing escalations

Skills/qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in instructional design or learning content development
• Proven ability to design and deliver advanced learning content within a fast-paced technologically-advanced environment
• Hand’s on experience with SCORM content production including HTML knowledge
• Great attention to detail
• Work well with others and easily adapt communication style to different audiences
• Able to work with various levels within the company
• Able to work autonomously while helping the team succeed
• Video editing experience is a plus
• Knowledge of home automation and/or HVAC system is a plus
• Knowledge of Inkling and similar document publishing tools is a plus
• Knowledge of Intellum and similar solutions is a plus
