Leadership Development Associate Fremont, CA

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Working from our Dumbarton Circle office in Fremont, this role will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of Tesla’s leadership and management development solutions globally. Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the operations and logistics for leadership development programs and meetings
  • Provide project management support for select key initiatives
  • Provide research and writing support for use in setting strategies and designing solutions
  • Support the creation and delivery of key stakeholder communications, presentations and reports
  • Gather and record data and metrics to support team initiatives including basic workforce analytics and reporting from the system; research and compile special reports
  • Acts as an information source on organization policies and procedures; knowledgeable of HR systems and processes; can route routine employee questions to the appropriate SS/COE
  • Manages LD spend working with Tesla Academy Operations and finance as needed, including ordering supplies, processing invoices and reviewing budget expenses monthly and keeping the team up to date

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 years of administrative support or Human Resources project management
  • Travel (1-25%) on as needed basis
  • Participation in training sessions, presentations, meetings, evening and/or weekend work events

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of project management and administrative support
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to independently draft memos, letters, and general correspondence for senior-level management
  • Ability to investigate and solve a variety of issues by employing considerable judgment, initiative, and consistent follow up for complete and quick resolution
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • High level of technical proficiency/computer literacy with excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite software and Apple Office Suite
  • Expertise in the use of Tesla systems and work processes a plus
  • Ability to work under general direction on multiples tasks with demanding and competing timelines
  • Uses discretion and maintains high level of confidentiality
  • Professional conduct and demeanor
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Cross-team collaboration and ability to operate effectively on a virtual team
