Description:

The Lead Linux Systems Administrator supports Linux and other Unix environments in on-prem physical, on-prem virtual and Azure and AWS cloud environments. A solid understanding of Linux and other variants of Unix are required as well as a working knowledge of performance and testing tools, Grid & High-Performance Computing, SAN (Storage Area Network) technologies, scripting, deployment technologies, and package configuration are important components of this job. A candidate must be a self-starter, work independently as well as with a diverse technical team, and can take ownership of issues through to resolution. This is a high visibility position and requires the ability to clearly communicate technical issues and solutions with peers, development engineers and management.
