Position Summary

This position is primarily responsible for leading the onboard revenue forecasting process and providing financial analysis support to the Onboard Revenue operational team. Areas of focus include identifying opportunities to improve operating results through financial analysis and developing enhanced reporting processes. The person will also be responsible for coordinating and monitoring all onboard revenue capital projects.

This position requires outstanding analytical skills (including financial analysis), and business acumen. Effective communication to Senior Management and the respective operational groups is critical to the success of this position.

Career Snapshot

• Collaborate with the Onboard Revenue operational team to produce accurate forecasts, record and analyze actual performance and identify plan of action to address variances.
• Conduct revenue analyses including volume/rate relationships. Analyze financial data and develop profit optimization strategies with the Onboard Revenue operational team.
• Lead the development and implementation of benchmark reports for operating groups.
• Coordinate all aspects of the capital request process for onboard revenue projects, including liaising with business partners to clarify and prioritize requests and optimize scopes.
• Monitor approved capital projects to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Responsible for “special project” initiatives with senior management audiences.

Requirements

• B.A in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Five to eight years related financial or business analysis.
• Cruise or Hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong excel skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead, facilitate and organize
• Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy in analysis and presentations along with strong operational focus.
• Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of operational personnel.
