Junior Web Developer

Ideal Image, based in Tampa Florida, is the largest US retail provider of non-surgical cosmetic procedures with 130 centers across North America. The company is private-equity backed and has aggressive plans to expand the business by adding more centers and increasing the breadth and depth of services within each center.

The company offers a broad range of services including laser hair removal, CoolSculpting, wrinkle reduction and other services that improve physical appearance to enhance self-image and build self-confidence. All services are FDA-cleared/approved and rigorously tested at the company’s R&D center; the services in each center are performed by registered nurses or other medically trained professionals.

Responsibilities:
Ideal image is seeking to fill the role of Junior Web Developer/ Website Administrator to join the Marketing team at our headquarters in Tampa, FL. This position will be responsible for front+back end web development (PHP/MySQL/LAMP Stack) on our website/landing pages, HTML email templates, as well site maintenance, data collection, and provide general technological support within the Marketing department such implementing SEO optimizations.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years’ experience in a development role, basic understanding modern day marketing, and a passion for learning, and implementing new technologies. You must be a natural problem solver, fixing a wide array of issues, providing recommendations for enhancements, and implementing solutions.

Beyond expanding your development skills, this role will have many opportunities to grow, and gain additional skills related to user experience (UX) design, SEO, A/B Testing, conversion rate optimization, and web analytics. You should remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization.

Duties

• Front end development work for current web site, landing pages, and email templates
• Basic back end development for form integrations with web services
• Assist with JavaScript tagging implementations
• Manage content, site updates, and ad-hoc development requests across multiple sites and blog (WordPress)
• Make recommendations/implement improvements related to user experience based on data and best practices
• Mange projects that involve coordination data and content collection from multiple sources across the company
• Assist with managing marketing related technological projects such as selection of technology vendors
• Analyze and solve problems related to company websites, and digital properties with innovative solutions and fresh thinking
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree with preference for technical fields such as Computer Science, Information System, or Engineering
• 1-2 years of relevant experience with web development programs, tools and trends
• Experience with semantic HTML5 and CSS3 are preferred
• Solid understanding of modular design patterns with CSS
• Experience with media Queries and responsive websites
• 1+ Year experience working with JavaScript/jQuery
• 1+ Year working with PHP and MySQL
• Desired but not required: Experience with Salesforce, WordPress, SEO, UX, Google Analytics, HTML Emails, htaccess, A/B testing
• Comfortable with rapid prototyping and direct feedback
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and solve problems in a timely and accurate manner
• Independently motivated to achieve goals and manage time with minimal supervision
• Having graphic design skills are not required but highly desirable
