Junior Systems Administrator

Responsibilities: Provide Sun Solaris, Windows and Linux operating system administration, tuning, troubleshooting and fixing the problems for a large scale environment. Ensure a reliable computing environment for all application servers and Oracle databases, as well as timely availability and maintain integrity of terabytes of operational data received and housed. In addition, the System Administrator will interact with end users to troubleshoot problems and /or to test new functionality within the product, provide training, testing and documentation. The Systems Administrator will also analyze computer and system malfunctions by developing action plans to address unsatisfactory occurrences.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an IT helpdesk or support environment.
• Clustering knowledge and experience
• Solid state disk
• Supported oracle applications with replication servers
• Well versed on storage technology

Location : New York City. Relocation assistance provided can be provided.
