Junior Software Engineer

QuadPay is an alternative payment provider that allows brands to give their customers the opportunity to split their purchases into 4 interest-free, automatic installments. The customer gets the product straight away and we pay the merchant upfront.

As a junior software engineer, you’ll help solve the challenges we tackle at QuadPay on a daily basis, like preventing online fraud, building incredible real-time credit-decisioning models and, most importantly, delivering a product that is secure, completely frictionless and amazing to use.

This is an on-site position in our New York office.

As a junior software engineer you will be responsible for:

  • eCommerce integrations for new partners
  • Supporting our Customer Success team with detailed analysis of customer transactions
  • Developing and building out our integration tools roadmap, including designing and implementing new UI widgets for display on eCommerce sites as well as internal tools to facilitate efficient and reliable integrations
  • Working with our partners to solve problems and ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Familiarizing yourself with our core application stack and begin contributing towards bug fixes and new features
  • Developing internal analytics and reporting tools

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with JavaScript, CSS and HTML
  • Proficiency building responsive, cross-platform Web UIs
  • Experience developing Web Applications (we use C# Asp.net WebAPI + Angular)
  • Basic understanding of core software development methods, design patterns and practices
  • Passion for learning and being actively engaged in all phases of the SDLC
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)

Bonus

  • Experience with RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, like Magento, Shopify, Demandware, or others
  • Experience with Domain Driven Design, CQRS and Event Sourcing
  • Experience developing for and deploying to Azure
