Junior Software Developer

Job Summary

Fathom Software LLC is la software development company based out of Dallas TX, and works with emergent startups in the B2B and Saas space. We are looking to hire a junior full stack software developer for our Dallas office. We prefer resources that are local to Dallas as face to face interactions are very important to our style of working.

Responsibilities and Duties

The primary responsibilities include :

1. Analysis and development of software for the Fathom and for its clients.

2. Interacting with Fathom’s clients on understanding their immediate needs and ongoing product areas that need resolution.

3. Understanding and documenting immediate and long term functionality needs of Fathom’s clients.

4. Research and prototype new technology, frameworks and stacks for adoption within Fathom’s best practices.

4. Participating in networking events to represent Fathom.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Very good understanding of full stack framework and methodology.

2. Proficiency in at least one stack such LAMP, MEAN and in frameworks such as React and React Native. (LAMP is a plus)

3. Proficiency in front end frameworks and libraries. Very good knowledge of javascript based frameworks.

3. Advanced understanding of advanced concepts in database programming.

4. Familiarity with cloud deployment processes. Knowledge of at least one of the popular cloud computing platforms is essential. (DigitalOcean is a plus)

5. Familiarity with Git, and with cloud repositories such a github/bitbucket.

5. Knowledge or previous experience in agile development methodology.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
