Junior .NET Developer

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for developing new internet software components, including client applications, server components and database structures, to meet project requirements. Primary development language is Microsoft C# .Net, SQL Server TSQL, and DB2 SQL.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new client/web service/server components and software.
  • Modify client/web service/server components and software.
  • Provide unit testing on developed product to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Work with end-users to determine needs and enhancements to software systems.
  • Deliver work products that meet the minimum assigned requirements in a timely and efficient manner.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Typically, a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required. Minimum of 2 year of experience in structured analysis and system design with experience in a production environment is preferred. Preferred 1 year development experience using .Net. In addition, the ability to design, develop, modify, debug and execute programs from technical specifications and to understand and effectively utilize the technical development environment is essential. Candidate must possess excellent analysis, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Additional helpful experience include:

  • Java
  • Knowledge of IBM AS400
