Junior – Mid Level .Net Developer

We are currently seeking a Junior – Mid Level .Net Developer to join our corporate software development team. The qualified candidate must have working knowledge of software development and software engineering practices in a professional environment.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

The qualified candidate will work under the direction of a senior developer to update and maintain our company’s several websites as well as project focused work on website enhancements. This will require the collaboration with users from multiple departments with the ultimate goal of improving our customer’s overall website user experience.

Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 1-2 years of software development experience
• Experience with version control systems (TFS experience a plus)
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Capable of learning new technologies and platforms quickly
• Has a positive ‘can do’ and team orientated attitude

Required Technical Skills:

• Working knowledge of .NET, C#, Microsoft SQL
• Interest in working in front and back end development.
• Knowledge of Microsoft products including: Visual Studio .NET, C# and/or VB.NET, ASP.NET, Web Services
• Experience with HTML, DIV + CSS, Java Script, JQuery , Ajax
• Knowledge with WCF a plus
