Junior Financial Analyst

Datapath is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support its Finance

and Accounting group at its Duluth, Georgia office location. This position will

report to the Company’s Senior Financial Analyst. Responsibilities will include

translating and inputting signed contracts into accounting, budget and

financial systems; generating project budgets, creating estimates and analyzing

financial performance for projects ranging in size from thousands to tens of millions

of dollars.

Role and Responsibilities:
Will work on a daily basis with contracts, the Project

Management team and finance to make sure all new contracts are input into

DataPath’s ERP system accurately and completely.

Collaborate with senior financial analyst to update

project budgets monthly for actual results

Will need to become familiar with DFAR; FAR; CAS and

other government regulations.

Work with Project management as required to update

ETCs, EACs, etc.

Performs basic activities in support of various project

related financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and

analysis.

Create, maintain, and update financial records and

databases,

Gain an understanding of government contract work

breakdown structures and project structures; and load/extract data from

the Company’s ERP system.

Other tasks as assigned to assist in accounting and

finance

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business

Administration or a related field.

1-3 years’ experience in relevant positions.

Will be required to balance requirements from multiple

sources in a fast paced environment.

Efficient working understanding of Excel (pivots,

lookups, formulas, tables, charts), and spreadsheets

Strong work ethic and personal integrity.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative,

goal-oriented environment.

Optional Skills and Experience:
Experience in a company with Government customers.

Experience with Deltek/Costpoint ERP software or some

other Enterprise level accounting software.
