Simply Wireless, Inc., a national wireless retail company founded in 1997, headquartered in Tysons Corner, VA is seeking a detail-oriented individual to fill an important analyst position. This position will be a part of the accounting/finance team and will report directly to the Finance Manager. The individual in this highly visible position will play a key part in improving the company’s profitability, guiding technological advancement and ensuring accuracy of third party statements.

We are looking for an individual who has excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Qualified candidates will possess the ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment and the ability to work as a team member. Along with financial acumen, the ideal candidate demonstrates keen critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the sales reconciliation process from time of sale, through commission payout and dispute resolution
• Develop technical solutions to business problems – define, analyze and communicate project requirements to development team
• Analyze existing processes and provide suggestions to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness
• Produce in-depth evaluations of performance metrics for each distribution channel
• Cultivate understanding of key business drivers in pursuit of creating detailed financial models using variable inputs
• Develop subject-matter expertise in the Company’s retail operations in order to effectively measure, analyze and report retail execution efficiency
• Provide continual communication and reporting to the sales team and upper management, including interpretation of progress compared to expectations
• Act as a liaison between the finance department, retail teams and development team and communicate issues/solutions
• Other ad hoc projects related to finance and/or accounting

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university of equivalent experience, Finance concentrations preferred
• Exceptional analytical, problem solving, organizational, and project management skills
• 1-2 years of experience using structured methodologies in analysis and/or quality control
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Retail experience preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills
