Junior Developer

The purpose of the Junior Developer is to create, test and fix identified issues and bugs in the system, monitor production systems by looking at logs and error emails, working in conjunction with Support and QA to ensure proper functionality of all production systems.

Essential Duties:

• Development of new programs using various technologies Java and provide support to existing applications
  
• Writing data queries on RDBMS SQL Server
  
• Understand business requirements, functional requirements and design documents
  
• Deployment and configuration of new releases
  
• Unit Testing
  
• Time management, multi-tasking, teamwork and ability to work independently

Management reserves the right to assign or change duties and tasks to this position at their discretion.

Position: Full Time, Salaried, Exempt

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Travel: No travel required

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Work Environment: The employee works in an office environment with a low to moderate noise level. Typical work hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Job may require additional hours. Work hours change at management’s discretion with or without prior notice.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. This person must read, write and speak fluent English for filling out forms, use of programs, work direction, communications to customers, as well as employee and interdepartmental interaction etc.
