Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy complex object oriented applications
• Build new solutions and refactor existing solutions for scale and integration capability
• Build and maintain RDBMS (MySQL) databases

Requirements

• Accredited bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
• Excellent 00 design and design pattern knowledge including MVC
• Excellent understanding of system architecture and code optimization
• Comfortable with Unix/Linux/BSD command line
• In-depth knowledge of at least one (Java, Python, C/C++)
• Demonstrable knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
• Demonstrable knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5/XHTML, CSS3
• Basic usage of Git and GitHub
• Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
• Ability to work on critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Like to work in a small group dynamic

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with OO PHP, especially Laravel 5.x
• Java, Python, or C/C++
• Experience in front- and back-end security, encryption and data-protection APIs
• Experience with Salesforce Apex and Visualforce
• RESTful API creation and integration
• Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services suite of products (EC2, S3, SES, RDS)
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
