Jr Frontend Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features
• Utilize Javascript and HTML/CSS to translate mockups into fully functional features
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical and business needs
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to implement and improve features
• Write solid, standards-compliant code while recognizing performance, scalability, and security
• Diagnose and resolve bugs in an efficient and effective manner
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Participate in daily SCRUM meetings

Requirements

• Ability to plan and develop features effectively using software development best practices
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
• Proficient understanding of object-oriented JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
• In depth understanding of standards-compliant web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Experience with one or more popular modern JS frameworks such as AngularJS and NodeJS
