Jr Developer – Supply Chain

Application development and support for Sourcing and Logistics applications, including PLM and J.Crew imports. Resource will interact with IT team, plus, business partners across the Sourcing and Logistics organization

Responsibilities Include:
Provide application support for internal and external customers

Understand business requirements and how to translate to application features

Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications

Write high quality code to program applications within deadlines

Maintain and improve performance of existing applications

Perform unit and integration testing before launch

Conduct functional and non-functional testing

Troubleshoot and debug applications

Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features

Develop technical documents to accurately represent application design and code

Required Skills:
Proven experience as application developer

1+ years’ experience in designing and building applications

Ability to program in at least one programming language such as classic ASP, .net, C#, Java (J2EE) etc.

Experience with FlexPLM application or other PLM applications a plus

Ability to learn Sourcing and Logistics concepts and progress in technical and business skills, actual background/knowledge in sourcing and logistics applications and business process a plus

Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability, particularly with regard to anticipating and solving problems, issues or concerns before they occur or become critical

Good understanding of software design and programming principles

A team player with excellent communication skills

Great attention to detail and time-management skills

BS/BA in computer science or relevant field or equivalent experience in technology-related field
