Boost Labs is currently on the hunt for a Jr. Designer to join our growing family. As a company, Boost Labs is made up of a passionate group of people that push each other in every way possible, really bringing out our potential. Our projects are design-centric — we strongly believe in a harmonic balance between form and function where one will not ever compromise the other.

Here’s what you’d be doing:

• Work with our diverse group of Designers, Information Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, and all the hybrids in between
• Assist other Designers with creating a wide-range of deliverables
• Work with Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch (feel free to recommend tools that we aren’t using either!)
• Work with BI tools like Tableau and Domo to navigate complex datasets and create a cohesive story
• Collaborate in group working sessions from gathering requirements, to scavenging the web for inspiration, or even workshops to learn a new skill
• Assimilate with existing design aesthetics to produce additional items
• We cater to YOU — we learn what you are naturally good at and make sure when new projects come in, we find the perfect fit for you to shine (and grow)

Here’s what you’ll need to be qualified:

• We don’t believe in micromanaging so having a self-driven, self-motivating attitude is a must
• Unnatural attention to detail — like you have some sort of android from the future
• You got to know your way around Photoshop and Illustrator
• We do a lot of peer feedback sessions so being able to take constructive criticism is a must
• Good communication skills to explain your designs and rationale behind choices made
• Bachelors in Design or 1-2 years of professional experience
• Due to the heavy datasets we frequently work with, the ideal candidate would need a technical mindset (not just artistic) — having a nice balance between the artistic right side of your brain and the technical left
• An unquenchable thirst to advance yourself
