Jr. Database Developer/DBA

This is a lucrative on-site contract with fame, fortune, and life-long recognition as a Jr. Database Developer/DBA for the CLOUT platform.

Primary Work Duties:

– Provide support in Database Administration, which includes database design, database development for transactional, reporting, ad scheduling/delivery and data warehouse system solutions.

– Install, configure and upgrade database server software and related products such as patches.

– Review, enhance, and maintain sound backup recovery policies and procedures.

– Assess database security vulnerabilities, recommend and implement security solutions and new or revised policies and procedures to secure databases.

– Work with application developers to perform database and application tuning and performance monitoring.

– Front end, middle and back end database development.

– Perform data mining, data cleansing, data manipulation functions, caching, and indexing functions.

– Develop and integrate business intelligence and data analytic tools.

– Design and deploy data entry / data management tools and interfaces for non-technical support and administrative staff.

Qualifications:

– Recent experience working with large scale SQL and NoSQL systems including MySQL, MongoDB, and Oracle.

– Server administration experience in the cloud (AWS and Google), collocated, and local server environments.

– Designing, optimizing, testing, deploying, and stabilizing SQL and NoSQL infrastructure systems Installing, migrating, configuring, patching and upgrading SQL and NoSQL databases

– Working with SQL Server Clustering for failover, backup or traffic distribution Writing and improving SQL scripts, procedures, functions, and other related requirements

– Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, Database mirroring, Replication.

– Troubleshooting performance issues, CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention issues.

Hiring starts as an Independent Contractor and converts to an Executive Employment upon Clout’s next round of funding. Initial compensation paid in equity stock options. Salary, bonuses, and additional stock option grants are raised with achievement milestones of year one total compensations which is anticipated to exceed comparable market rates. At this time we cannot offer relocation assistance or sponsorship.
