JavaScript Developer – Remote

Our client is an international marketing analytics company that integrates their front end software with current website and applications. Currently they are seeking a client facing full-time consultant to advise and be a technical expert to work at their client’s location in New York, NY.A couple of main aspects of the job are being client-facing, communicative, have solid front-end knowledge (specifically JavaScript). 3+ years of experience is preferred in a technical consulting role, or in a leadership role with client-facing exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with implementation consultants and customers to ensure implementations are successful
• Develop custom code and integration guides for customer implementations
• Provide on-site training and guidance to technical and non-technical customer project members
• Troubleshoot issues reported by clients, involving clients’ websites and mobile applications
• Custom programming work to support tools and processes within Global Services
• Provide technical expertise and solutions in a variety of environments including server-side (PHP, Java, .NET), mobile (iOS, Android) and client-side (JavaScript)

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate technical ideas to business stakeholders and technical users
• 5 years’ experience developing including a solid base knowledge of JavaScript at least one server language and REST API’s
• General understanding of software languages
• Broad understanding of enterprise and web architectures
• Basic understanding of mobile platforms
• Critical and creative thinking
• Passion for fast-paced problem solving
• Experience with SaaS preferred
• Mobile development (iOS and/or Android) experience is a plus

Salary: $130,000.00 /year
