Java/Scala Developer

We are looking for a Java/Scala Developer in Juno Beach, FL.

Maximum rate is $45/hr on c2c.

EXPERIENCE IN ENERGY DOMAIN IN RECENT 4 YEARS IS REQUIRED.

Type: Temporary Project

Remote or Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.

Description: Our Client, a wholesale electricity supplier and a provider of clean energy, is looking for Java/Scala Developer in Juno Beach, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Analyze business process and practices in an effort to focus the design and implementation of information technology solutions that meet customer needs and business initiatives;
Collaborate on an on-going basis with the Programmer/Analysts;
Apply advanced analytical skills within functional area;
Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend best practices;
Solve complex problems, take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions;
Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations;
May lead functional teams or projects.

Requirements:

Experience with Java/Scala;
Experience with OOA/OOD;
Experience with agile development and Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence and Bit Bucket;
Experience with rich UI frameworks like Angular2, Vaadin;
Experience with application development frameworks like Spring and Hibernate;
Experience designing RESTful APIs, API documentation (Swagger) and SOAP Web Services;
Experience with Unix/Linux, Windows;
Experience with build, deploy and test automation tools like Maven, Bamboo, Junit and Mockito;
Experience in developing APIs and Frameworks;
Experience in design and development of big data platform with a combination of the following technologies: Cassandra, Hive MQ and spark;
Experience in data structure design, Data Modelling in Cassandra;
Experience with Git.
