Java Web Developer

Experience Level: Minimum 5 years professional experience

Description: Dignitas is seeking an experienced Web Developer to join an Agile development team to participate in web development projects using Scrum and other Agile and Lean processes. This role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to customer specifications. The position entails creating visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. This position will support the JLCCTC training environment.

Required skills/experience:

• Web service development, preferably using Apache Servicemix is required
• C/C++ and Java computer applications development proficiency is required
• Working on a Linux platform is required
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment is required
• Strong verbal & written communication skills are required
• Strong collaboration skills are required

Desired skills/experience:

• Development experience in: JAVA; C/C++; LUA; C#, PhP; JavaScript (including AJAX); CSS; HTML; C#.NET ; MSSQL; MySQL, JQuery; .NET

*Candidate must hold a minimum of an interim Secret security clearance *
